This dataset contains results from an incubation study from cores collected from Jordan Lake, North Carolina, USA. We tested the relative efficacy of Phoslock (relative to iron-rich sediment cores) under anoxic and oxic conditions. We found that Phoslock was effective at preventing sediment Phosphate loading under anoxic conditions, but was not effective relative to the untreated control under oxic conditions. We also found that Phoslock released a substantial amount of Ammonium when dispersed in Jordan Lake water.<br>This dataset is associated with a publication (the exact reference details yet to be determined as of creation of this figshare file): Mary A.
