Data for: Environmental Life Cycle Assessment of the SpiralG Biorefinery

This repository contains the life cycle inventory (LCI) datasets and supplementary documents associated with the following two scientific articles: Braud, L., McDonnell, K., & Murphy, F. (2025). The LCI for the Spirulina biorefinery is based on real pilot-scale data collected between 2019 and 2022 in industrial facilities located in Italy and France, as part of the Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE-JU) project "SpiralG" (https://www.cbe.europa.eu/projects/spiralg), under grant agreement No. 792257. These materials are shared to support the reproducibility of the findings and to enable further research in the field of Spirulina biorefining and life cycle assessment. All materials are shared under the [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)] licence. The scripts used to perform the two LCA studies are available in the linked GitHub repository: https://github.com/leabrd/spiralgorithm.
