Multi-proxy investigations were performed on surface sedimentary samples collected from the Antarctic Peninsula, during the 28th CHINARE (Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition), including tephra abundance, clay mineral compositions, coarse fractions, grain size, major elements, minor elements, biogenic components, and microfossils, in order to understand the sedimentary and ecological environment in this region.
