Sediment grain size data from samples collected during R/V Weatherbird II cruise, Northern Gulf of Mexico, August 5-9 2012, WB-1303

This dataset reports grain size for five sediment samples collected using multicores during the R/V Weatherbird II cruise in the Northern Gulf of Mexico from August 5th to 9th, 2012. Grain sizes are reported as percent of the sample for 47 size classes. The percent mud content for each sample is calculated and samples are classified as mud or sandy mud. Results are reported in triplicate for each sample and the average for each sample is included. Samples were analyzed in the laboratory by laser diffraction.
