The dataset used in this study includes the following categories of variables:•Section A: Demographic and Background Information•A1: Participant ID•A2: Gender•A3: Whether the participant is an only child•A4: Place of household registration (urban or rural)•A5: Grade•A6: Whether the current major was chosen voluntarily•A7: Academic ranking within the class•A8: Whether the participant has held a leadership position in any class or university organization during college•A9: Father’s highest level of education•A10: Mother’s highest level of education•A11: Annual total household income•T: Social Adaptation VariablesVariables in this section are derived from the China College Student Adjustment Scale (CCSAS), which assesses multiple dimensions of students’ social adaptation, including interpersonal relationships, academic adjustment, campus life, career planning, emotional regulation, self-adjustment, and satisfaction.•S: Stressful Events VariablesThis section includes variables from the China College Student Psychological Stress Scale (CCSPSS), which measures students’ exposure to and perception of various stressful events across five domains: academics, development, social interaction, daily life, and family.•Y: Psychological Resilience VariablesData labeled “Y” are based on the Psychological Resilience Scale (RS) developed by Wagnild and Young and revised by Chao Fenfang, used to evaluate students’ confidence, perseverance, and adaptability in the face of adversity.•M: Intervention and Social Support VariablesThese variables originate from the Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) adapted by the researchers to assess key intervention measures, including perceived support from family, physical activity habits, and self-regulation strategies.
