This dataset supplements the article: Liu, F., Zou, H., Liu, X., Yang, H., Xiao, X., Luo, Z., Tan, C., Effects of mouth bar on suspended sediment transport in a micro-tidal estuary based on an idealized model, submitted to Earth Surface Processes and Landforms. The 'Grid_MDM_idealized_estuary.grd' and 'GridEnc_MDM_idealized_estuary.enc' are essential grid files for Delft3D-FLOW model. The scenarios with mouth bar and without mouth bar share the same grid file. The results of the main parameters for the estuarine area with depth-averaged data are as follows. (1) SSC and UV(Horizontal Velocities) of Idealized estuary with a mouth bar: The formats of the result files are ‘MouthBar_[Flow]_[Tide]_[Phase]_[Variable].mat.’ Here, Flow is High flow or Low flow; Tide is ST(Spring Tide) or NT(Neap Tide); Phase is Ebb Peak or Flood peak; and Variable is SSC(Suspended Sediment Concentration) or UV(Horizontal Velocities). An example is MouthBar_Highflow_ST_Floodpeak_SSC.mat. (2)SSC and UV(Horizontal Velocities) of Idealized estuary without mouth bar: The formats of the result files are ‘NoBar_[Flow]_[Tide]_[Phase]_[Variable].mat.’ Here, Flow is High flow or Low flow; Tide is ST(Spring Tide) or NT(Neap Tide); Phase is Ebb Peak or Flood peak; and Variable is SSC(Suspended Sediment Concentration) or UV(Horizontal Velocities). An example is NoBar_Highflow_ST_Floodpeak_SSC.mat.
