The data set covers all relevant process steps / technologies over the supply chain of the represented cradle to gate inventory with a good overall data quality. The inventory is mainly based on industry data and is completed, where necessary, by secondary data.

Technical Purpose: This polyacrylonitrile fibres data set represent a standard technical product and can be used widely where polyacrylonitrile fibres
are used, especially as reinforcement in plastics and composites applications. It further can be used as input to produce carbon fibres by stabilisation treatment,
carbonisation and eventually a final heat treatment.
