HALO Database

HALO is a Gulfstream G-550 aircraft specifically equipped with numerous in situ and remote sensing instruments. It allows to study important scientific questions with regard to atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric physics, climate research, satellite validations, and Earth system observations. It enables the university-based atmospheric and Earth system research community in Germany in partnership with colleagues from the national research centers to perform state-of-the-art science utilizing HALO as a unique infrastructure.HALO是一款搭载了众多原位（in situ）与遥感（remote sensing）探测仪器的湾流G-550型飞机。其可用于开展与大气化学、大气物理、气候研究、卫星验证以及地球系统观测相关的重大科学问题研究。德国高校所属的大气与地球系统研究团队，可与本国国家研究中心的同行合作，以HALO作为独一无二的研究基础设施，开展顶尖前沿的科学研究。
