A sub-genomic CRISPR/Cas9 screen of essential RNA binding protein in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) is one of most common type of leukemia in the pediatric population.Compared to different types of genetic translocations, MLL- AF4 translocation gives rise to highly aggressive form of leukemia with poor prognosis. Microarray studies on B-ALL clinical samples, has identified a number of genes that are highly upregulated in MLL-AF4. Therefore, we decided to study the significance of these dysregulated genes in B-ALL cells survival and proliferation through sub-genomic drop out CRISPR screen.
