Gap junction proteins have emerged as attractive targets for cancer therapy. However, the roles of GJB4, which is one of the gap junction proteins, were unexplored in pancreatic cancer. Here, given the significance of GJB4 as a target for cancer therapy, we sought to clarify the biological functions of GJB4 in pancreatic cancer cells. Non-targeting control siRNA and siRNA targeting human GJB4 were transfected into the pancreatic cancer cell line, SUIT-2 by nucleofection. We conducted RNA sequencing using SUIT-2 cells transfected with non-targeting control siRNA and siRNA targeting human GJB4.
