Research in Svalbard international projects edgelist

This dataset lists all the country to country ties derived from the Research in Svalbard (RIS) database using the country of origin of the organisations with joint research projects in Svalbard and the projects year. This edgelist is broken down into two time periods: 1972-2004 ; 2005-2022. Per each pair of countries, it gives the number of joint research projects registered in the RIS database per period of time. It can be used for network analysis purposes. It has been created and analysed using a core-periphery approach within the publication: Strouk, M. & Maisonobe, M. (2024).
