Images from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Hinckley Castle Ditch, Argents Mead, Hinckley, Leicestershire, 2023

This collection comprises of images from an archaeological watching brief carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) at the Scheduled Monument site at Hinckley Castle Ditch, Argents Mead, Hinckley, Leicestershire. The work was undertaken during February and March 2023 during bank stabilisation and de-silting work of the former castle ditch. The objective of the watching brief was achieved in that no archaeological features or deposits were encountered or disturbed during the programme of work.
