Annotation dataset of Ganges River dolphin WGS from Halda river

River dolphins act as indicators of river health in the basins where they live. Genomic information on wild <i>P.gangetica</i> of Halda river would aid in understanding diversity and population dynamics, and thereby support it's conservation management and further genomic research studies.<br>Genome annotation is a key step in analyzing bioinformatic data. One useful database is the<em> KEGG</em> (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes). KEGG integrates functional information, biological pathways, and sequence similarity. KOALA (KEGG Orthology And Links Annotation) is KEGG's internal annotation tool for K number assignment of KEGG GENES using SSEARCH computation. GhostKOALA is an automatic annotation tool to assign KEGG Identifiers to metagenomes.
