We have generated RNA-sequencing datasets of the regulome of mouse neural stem and progenitor cells derived from embryonic stem cells, with allele-specific deletions of Sox2 enhancer cluster regions. RNA-seq experiments were conducted to evaluate the regulatory function of Sox2 candidate enhancers in neural stem and progenitor cells. Overall design: Bulk RNA-seq of mouse neural stem and progenitor cells (NSPC) derived from embryonic stem cells, with allele-specific deletions of clustered Sox2 regulatory regions (SRRs). Samples of clones harboring a biallelic deletion of Sox2 Regulatory Regions 2-18 (SRR2-18) and parent line controls were cultured in a selective medium to induce differentiation of NSPCs for 10 days.
