Cruise passenger traffic at the port of Cozumel 2013-2022

The number of cruise passengers welcomed at the Mexican port of Cozumel more than quadrupled in 2022 compared to the previous year, after dropping sharply with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While the cruise traffic at the island in the Caribbean Sea grew by approximately 2.3 million passengers from 2021 to 2022, it remained below pre-pandemic levels.
