The Interplay Between Lifestyle and Oral/Fecal Microbial Profiles Among Periodontal Disease Patients

This project investigates the relationship between lifestyle factors and oral/fecal microbial profiles in patients with periodontal disease. By analyzing how variables such as diet, smoking, and physical activity influence the microbial composition in both the oral cavity and the gut, this study aims to reveal potential links between lifestyle choices and periodontal disease progression. The results could contribute to a deeper understanding of microbiome dynamics in periodontal health and offer insights for developing more personalized, lifestyle-informed therapeutic strategies.
