To elucidate the effects of aging and the regeneration process on the liver, we conducted transcriptome analyses on young (11–14 weeks old), old (60 weeks old), and very old (100 weeks old) C57BL/6 mice (Clea Japan) before and after partial hepatectomy (PH), as well as on sham control mice.
