DairyFMBN: a database of studies on the bacterial microbiota of dairy products

DairyFMBN v2.1.6 includes a selection of records from FoodMicrobionet v 3.2.8 with studies on the microbiota of milk, fermented milks, cheese, starter cultures and dairy environments. The data are accessible via a Shiny app whose manual is included.
Changes over version 2.1.4 of DairyFMBN:
a. there are 74 studies and 4738 samples in this version
b. conversion of the species of the former genus Lactobacillus is now performed by default (i.e. Lactobacillus plantarum is converted to Lactiplantibacillus plantarum)
