Experimental data on MUC2–lipid interactions in Langmuir monolayers

This dataset contains experimental research data generated within the NCN MINIATURA 9 project (grant no. 2025/09/X/NZ1/00482) during studies of MUC2–lipid interactions in Langmuir monolayers. The dataset includes measurements for lipid systems. The deposited files contain experimental records obtained under different subphase conditions, including PBS and MUC2-containing subphases. The PBS- and MUC2-based experiments support the manuscript “Mucin–Lipid Interactions at a Model Intestinal Interface: Lipid-Dependent Organization and Mechanical Properties in Langmuir Monolayers”. The dataset includes surface pressure–area (π–A) measurements and related experimental records used to evaluate lipid-dependent changes in monolayer organization, packing, compressibility, and stability. The original experimental data structure has been retained to preserve the primary measurement records generated by the Langmuir trough software. The data provide an experimental basis for comparing lipid behavior under physiological and acidic subphase conditions and for assessing lipid-specific and assembly-history-dependent effects of MUC2 on model lipid interfaces.
