WGS of SARS-CoV2 sequencing was done as part of COVID surveillance on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland using a nested primer approach described in Roder et al 2021 (DOI: 10.1101/2021.05.05.442873v1). Sequencing data from SARS-CoV2 was used to inform transmission chains and identify minority variants under increased selective pressure to give insight to strain emergence.
