Disclosed are a chainsaw and an electric tool (10). The chainsaw comprises a working component (15)， a main body part (20)， a brushless electric motor (17)， a power supply device (16)， a driving circuit (42)， a controller (41) and a motion detection device (43)， wherein the motion detection device (43) is in correlated connection with the main body part (20) or the working component (15)， and is used for detecting a change in the motion of the main body part (20) or the working component (15) in at least one direction; and the controller (41) is configured to control， when the amount of change in the motion of the main body part (20) or the working component (15) in the at least one direction exceeds a preset threshold valve， the driving circuit (42) to enable the brushless electric motor (17) to enter a brake mode.
