These data were generated from amplicon sequencing of Plasmodium falciparum ama1 and mdr1 genes in samples collected from Kilifi, at the coast of Kenya.

Two objectives were explored:
To determine temporal changes in the genetic diversity of malaria parasites in asymptomatic and febrile infections.
To track within-host parasite diversity, throughout treatment in a clinical drug trial.
