THE CONCEPT OF UNITS WITH PRIVATE COMBINABILITY IN TERMINOLOGY

This article examines the concept of special conjunctions in terminology as a category of independent terminological units. Such conjunctions are located between free terminological phrases and purely idiomatic terminological phraseological units: their lexical choice is limited to a certain range of components, but their semantic motivation is preserved. The theoretical foundations of this phenomenon, its semantic and structural features, their role in the systematic organization of terminological fields, and their importance for ensuring the precision, uniformity, and communicative effectiveness of specialized communication are analyzed.
