These study was conducted with the main goal of Providing genomic and transcriptomic resources for the species and to investigate the gene expression profile under drought and salt stress. The abiotic stress induced RNA-Seq profiling enabled to identify the key genes,transcript factor families and pathways associated with abiotic stress tolerances. Most importantly it uncovered the underlying mechanisims contributing for improved tolerance of O. abyssinica to abiotic stress.
