Data on Scientific Publications about Innovation in Tourism Enterprises, 2018–2024

We compiled and curated our dataset of 319 scientific articles on innovation in tourism enterprises published between 2018 and 2024. The records were retrieved from the Scopus database using an advanced search strategy focused on tourism-related organizations, innovation, and themes such as sustainable tourism, digital transformation, and service innovation. The initial search results were screened and filtered with the PRISMA 2020 protocol to document each step of the selection process. After removing duplicates and correcting inconsistencies in the metadata, we obtained a coherent corpus containing information on article titles, authors, institutional affiliations, source titles, publication years, citation counts, author keywords, and bibliographies. We organized the final dataset in tabular and text formats that can be directly imported into common bibliometric and scientometric tools such as VOSviewer and the R package Bibliometrix. This dataset allows us to investigate temporal trends, cooperation patterns, and thematic structures in tourism innovation research. It also provides a basis for comparative analyses between countries, institutions, and journals in this field.
