The following is the initial report of archaeological salvage in the Salamonie and Mississinewa reservoirs, Corps of Engineers flood control projects in major tributaries of the Wabash River in northeastern Indiana, and covers the period through June 30, 1963. The permanent field party is composed of James H. Kellar, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Indiana University, and John Dorwin, Nick Franks, and J.
