AAV2-CrAT prevent RGC loss against optic nerve crush and NMDA injury. in vitro study demonstrated that CrAT overexpression could prevent ferroptosis in oxidative stress in neuronal cells. We performed AAV2-CrAT intravitreal injection, and optic nerve crush in mice one month later after AAV2 injection. RGC was purified by FACS and gene expression changing was examined (duplicate).
