Mexico: number of detected LPG thefts 2011-2018

Between January and May 2019, 419 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) theft cases were detected in Mexico. This is almost twice the amount of occurrences detected throughout 2018. LPG thefts from pipelines in Mexico have been increasing exponentially in the past decade, with a growth rate of nearly 370 percent in 2018, when compared to 2011.
