Images from an Evaluation at Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited, Usworth, Suderland, 2021 to 2022

This archive consists of images from an evaluation conducted by Pre-Construct Archaeology at the Nissan Manufacturing Plant, Usworth, Sunderland, from December 2021 to January 2022. The archaeological investigations undertaken comprised the excavation of 35 evaluation trenches. Geological deposits, a Medieval gully, an early modern railway embankment and modern made ground deposits were encountered.
