资源简介:
When uncompressed using gunzip, the data files in this directory are all three-column ASCII files of three types, with extensions .pow, .azi, and .ele, corresponding to relative power, azimuth, and elevation of received Medium Frequency Burst signals, respectively. The date, time, and location of the data are encoded in the base filename. Base filenames have format YYYYMMDD-AAAA-BBBB-TLK-INT.dat where YYYY is the year, MM the month, and DD the day of month, AAAA is the UT hour and minute of the start time of the file, BBBB is the UT hour and minute of the end time of the file, and TLK indicates the location, Toolik Lake in the case of all of these files. The first two columns of each file represent time in seconds after the start time of the file and frequency in kiloHertz, respectively. The third column depends on the file extension: for .pow files, the third column is the relative radiance in units of tenths of decibels (where dB is defined as ten log radiance); for .azi files, the third column is the arrival azimuth angle in units of degrees off of geographic north where east is postive; for .ele files, the third column is the arrival elevation angle off of the horizon in degrees (with 90 being vertical). Note: in some cases the file extension of the uncompressed file is followed by an additional two letters, such as xxxx.powaa, xxxx.powab, etc. In these instances the original file has been split, so that each  successive letter combination (aa, ab, etc.) corresponds to successively later intervals after the start time of the file. However, the format is identical to that described above; i.e., the first column in the file represents time in seconds after the start time.
