资源简介:
Mimosa pudica (M. pudica) is native to the American continents, but is a common invasive weed in tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Oceania. It is also popular as a house plant because of its rapid plant movement when touched. Mimosa pudica produces mimosine and a host of other chemicals, some of which are being considered for a variety of drugs. It is nodulated by Burkholderia phymatum and Cupriavidus taiwanensis, both beta-rhizobia. DNA was collected from leaves of 2-month-old plants grown in a growth chamber. We sequenced the genome to a depth of approximately 413X.
The assembled scaffolds of high quality sequences total 557MB, with the contig and scaffold N50 values of 11kb and 119kb respectively. We identified 33,108 protein-coding genes with a mean length of 1.368kb.
