Individual and pooled-sample RNAseq in Indian White Shrimp

The individual sample RNAseq was performed to build transcripts in an important shrimp species, Penaeus indicus commonly called as Indian White Shrimp. The pooled-sample RNAseq was performed to discover Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in P. indicus. For individual sample RNAseq, the total RNA of five different tissues, gill, hepatopancreas, muscle, heart and pleopod was sequenced in independent libraries. For pooled-sample RNAseq, three different libraries (one each for gill, hepatopancreas and muscle) were sequenced. In this case, each library was prepared by pooling samples of nine individual shrimp.
