ISU Figure Skating Competition Results & Skater Profiles (2024/25 – 2026/27)
收藏资源简介:
Dataset of official results of 39 international figure skating competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) — Grand Prix and Junior Grand Prix series (including the Finals), European, Four Continents, World and World Junior Championships, the Olympic qualifier Skate to Milano and the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games — covering the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons in full and the first two Grand Prix events of 2026/27 (28 Aug 2024 – 1 Nov 2026). The data were collected on 4 November 2026 with a custom Python web scraper from the ISU's official results service (https://www.isuresults.com), as part of the course M2.851 "Tipología y ciclo de vida de los datos" (Master's in Data Science, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). The dataset has not been cleaned. Files (CSV, UTF-8, comma-separated, header row): - `isu_results_<season>.csv` (3 files, 5,495 rows): one row per skater/team and segment (Short Program, Free Skating, Rhythm Dance, Free Dance) with placement, Total Segment Score, Technical Element Score, Program Component Score and its three components (Composition, Presentation, Skating Skills), deductions, starting number, and event metadata (name, city, venue, dates, category). - `isu_final_results_<season>.csv` (3 files, 2,840 rows): one row per skater/team and category with final placement, total points and placement in each segment. - `isu_skaters.csv` (882 rows): one row per skater/team from the official ISU biography: discipline, nation, year of birth, height, start of skating/club, coaches, choreographer, weekly practice, personal best scores. Tables are linked through `bio_url` (the ISU biography URL, a stable identifier) and the (season, event_code, category) tuple. Each row keeps the URL of the source page for traceability. Personal data were minimised: only sport-related biography fields are included and only the year of birth is kept. The original data are the property of the International Skating Union. This derived dataset is released for non-commercial research and educational purposes under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Source code: see the related GitHub repository.
