Metagenomics and metatranscriptomics further attributed the delay of biofilm to down-expression of QS associated genes and also interrupted biofilm formation genes (i.e., bacterial secretion system, cell mobility). It was also determined that the expression of ARGs and MRGs was not simulated in presence of CuO and ZnO nanoparticles.
