资源简介:
Allelopathy is defined broadly as biochemical interactions involving plants and microbes, often as an inhibitory exchange of secondary metabolites. This study investigates the involvement of soil fungi in allelopathy, comparing the impacts to soil fungi underlying the observed allelopathy aboveground between Native Australian nana heath plants (Allocasuarina nana) and commercial pine trees (Pinus radiata). Rhizospheric soil samples were used for fungal community analysis, comparing the mycobiome between affected pine trees (dense-medium nana samples) and nearby healthy pine trees (dense pine samples). The study site used for this project is located in the Bombala region of NSW Australia (Ngarigu country).
