Derived data and reproducibility code for longitudinal analysis of Kazakhstan land-balance reports

This record contains derived datasets, source metadata and executable Python code for reproducible analysis of Kazakhstan's annual land-balance reports. The workflow reconstructs harmonised national and oblast-level series, verifies table extraction, identifies exact whole-column equality across adjacent editions, evaluates dependence-sensitive reference calculations and generates diagnostic visualisations. A one-command runner and verification script check the central numerical results and stable output hashes. The original government reports are third-party publications and are not redistributed. SOURCE_MANIFEST.csv identifies each report by year, relevant page, filename, file size, SHA-256 hash and source-series landing page, enabling verification by users who lawfully obtain the source files. The retained source log does not contain the exact original download URL or retrieval date for each PDF, and the manifest records that limitation.
