TGK AI Video Generators 2026: Ten-Model Text-to-Video Test Dataset

These Guys Know compared ten text-to-video models across three shared tasks: a father-and-son gaming conversation, a hotel fight and a Mango Cola advert. Five models were tested on 1 September 2026 and five more on 24 October 2026. The comparison contains 30 first completed outputs, with no quality rerolls. Version 2 adds Seedance 2.0, Wan 3.0, Veo 3.1, Sora 2 Pro and Grok Imagine Video 1.5. The files contain prompts and provenance, providers, settings, recorded costs and generation times, observations, technical file properties and editorial scores. Videos are linked from the evidence records; MP4 files are not included in this archive. Each clip is rated for accuracy (25%), scene logic (25%), audiovisual quality (30%) and value (20%). The three tasks count equally. Seedance 2.0 leads at 8.4/10, followed by Seedance 2.5 at 8.3 and Wan 3.0 at 7.9. These are editorial judgments of the tested outputs, not measurements of repeat-run reliability or universal model capability. Some endpoints delivered different durations and resolutions. Grok's advert used a revised prompt after a moderation refusal; the full revised submission is unavailable and its recorded change is labelled separately. September main prompts were reconstructed from TGK's testing records. The separate 3 September structured action-prompt retest is retained outside the main ranking.
