Data and Code for Systemic Heat-Risk Synchronization across GCC Cities under High-End Warming

This repository contains the data, scripts, and documentation required to reproduce the WBGT-based heat-stress synchronization diagnostics for the manuscript “From Local Extremes to Systemic Heat Risk: Shrinking Recovery Windows and Rising Synchronization across GCC Cities.” The package supports the calculation of Heat-Limited City Capacity (HLCC), Heat Exposure Synchronization (HES), leave-one-out robustness diagnostics, and anomaly-based rolling-window PCA for 19 major GCC cities under a high-emissions CORDEX–MENA RCA4 regional climate simulation. The archive includes processed city-level WBGT inputs, derived synchronization and robustness outputs, PCA diagnostics, reproduction scripts, environment files, and checksum documentation. Figure files are intentionally excluded but can be regenerated from the included scripts.
