The goal of this experiment was to see the percentage of human reads over total (mouse and human reads) for unique hepatocyte genes that are zonated as well as for other unique genes for endothelial cells, stellate cells and cholangiocytes. Part of right liver lobe was snap frozen and used for RNA isolation. The RNA was sent for bulkRNAsequencing. From the same liver,the median and left lobe were used for liver cell isolation for single cell-RNAsequencing.
