Data used and produced by paper Jones et al. 2020 - Area requirements to safeguard Earth’s marine species. The repository includes the following datasets: Planning_units.shp - 0.5 x 0.5 degree planning units used in spatial prioritisation analysis. Marine_wilderness.shp - Marine wilderness areas from Jones et al. 2018 (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960982218307723) Marine_Protected_Areas.shp - Marine protected area data taken from https://www.protectedplanet.net/. November 2017 dataset was used in this analysis. New_conservation_priorities.shp - Areas selected as new conservation priorities in Jones et al. 2020 under a 10% representation target.
