Lived Experiences of Nurses in Israel (2000–2025): A Meta-Synthesis of Qualitative Research

It identifies five dominant themes—emotional labor and burnout, professional identity, cultural tensions, workplace wellbeing, and resilience—within the unique context of Israel’s multicultural society and ongoing geopolitical challenges. The paper discusses implications for nursing practice, policy reform, cultural competence, and leadership development, while also highlighting limitations and directions for future research.
