Camera trap capture events of mammals in the Baviaanskloof catchment, South Africa (2020–2022)

This dataset contains all raw camera trap capture events recorded during mammal surveys conducted in the Baviaanskloof catchment, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, between January 2020 and April 2022. A total of 131 unique camera trap deployments were distributed across the landscape over four survey sessions, covering a range of topographic and land-use contexts. Each record represents an independent capture event and includes information on camera location, date and time of detection, and species identity.
