Three independent biological replicates of 10 w1118 flies under the indicated conditions were washed with PBS, and immersed in Trizol Reagent (Invitrogen), and the subsequent RNA extraction and sequencing were completed by GENEWIZ Inc. RNA was extracted following the manufacturer instructions. The quality and integrity of RNA were evaluated by RNA 6000 Pico Kit (Agilent) and Nanodrop 2000 (Thermo Fisher Scientific). Libraries with different indexes were prepared and loaded on an Illumina HiSeq/Illumina Novaseq-MGI2000 instrument for sequencing using a 2X150 paired-end (PE) configuration according to the manuals. RNA-seq data of gene expression profile changes were analyzed by the DESeq2 Bioconductor package, a model based on the negative binomial distribution.
