Data and Code for: Childhood Health Shocks and the Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality

This replication package accompanies the manuscript titled “Childhood Health Shocks and the Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality.” The analyses rely on linked Danish administrative registers and clinical data from the DanDiabKids registry. Due to confidentiality regulations, the original microdata cannot be shared publicly. However, this package includes the full set of scripts used for data construction, statistical analysis, and figure generation.To facilitate replication, we provide an R script that generates synthetic datasets. These dummy datasets reproduce the structure and variable properties of the original data (e.g., means, treatment effects) but contain no real individual-level information. The complete codebase can be executed on these synthetic files to validate workflow and file dependencies.
