资源简介:
This project investigates the urinary microbiota and bacterial membrane vesicles (BMVs) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. CKD is associated with an increased risk of urinary tract infections, including infections caused by antimicrobial resistant bacteria; however, the role of the urinary microbial ecosystem in this context remains poorly understood.Urine samples were collected under controlled conditions, and microbial DNA was extracted from both the urinary microbiota fraction and the BMV fraction. Shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed to characterize microbial community composition and to explore the presence of antimicrobial resistance genes. By integrating microbiota profiling with BMV associated genetic content, this study aims to provide exploratory insights into potential microbial and vesicle associated factors that may contribute to infection susceptibility and antimicrobial resistance in CKD.The generated datasets serve as a resource for future studies on the urinary microbiome, host microbe interactions, and infection risk in chronic kidney disease.
