This project aimed to (1) assess how shoreline adaptation in diked marsh units affects wave generation in Humboldt Bay and total water levels along the shoreline and (2) examine the tradeoffs between increased fetch and vegetation-induced frictional effects due to dike realignment and salt marsh restoration.
