The Upcoming Roadworks feature service provides authoritative information on roadworks that have received council consent. It includes four layers representing different types of traffic control measures: Disruptions – Linear features showing partial impacts such as slowdowns or shoulder work. Closures – Linear features representing segments of road that are fully closed, including single-lane alternating traffic treated as closures. Detours – Linear features representing designated alternative routes around closures or blocks. Each feature includes a start and end time, enabling time-enabled analysis, allowing users to explore traffic impacts across different periods. Please note: Only roadworks consented by council are included. For roads managed by other agencies, please refer to their respective open data platforms. While care is taken to provide accurate information, on-ground conditions may change.
