Human Microglia Engraftment in Mice

This study investigates species-specific differences in CSF1R signaling to enable robust engraftment of human pluripotent stem cell-derived microglia (hMGs) into immunodeficient mouse brains without genetic modification. Flow cytometry was used to quantify hMG survival, engraftment efficiency, and maturation markers following PLX5622 treatment and transplantation.
