Single-cell RNA sequencing dataset of an NF1-associated hypertrophic CIDP peripheral nerve biopsy

This dataset contains single-cell RNA sequencing data generated from a sural nerve biopsy of a patient with NF1-associated hypertrophic chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). The dataset was generated to characterize the cellular composition, transcriptomic alterations, and intercellular communication networks underlying extreme peripheral nerve enlargement and endoneurial fibrosis. Single-cell transcriptomic profiling was performed to investigate pathological Schwann cell states, fibroblast and vascular mural cell interactions, and molecular signaling pathways involved in tissue remodeling. The dataset includes processed single-cell RNA sequencing matrices These data support the investigation of mechanisms driving hypertrophic neuropathy and provide a resource for studying Schwann cell-mediated fibrotic remodeling in peripheral nerve disorders.
