Urban public transport plays a pivotal role in supporting sustainable urban mobility and ensuring efficient transportation services amid rapid urbanization. Establishing scientifically validated technical and operational performance standards for public transport vehicles is essential for improving passenger safety, operational reliability, economic efficiency, environmental sustainability, and overall service quality.
